Goofy, by "Big" Steve

 

 

I have attempted to compile the unique variations sent to me. As with any list of this type, this is not a complete list. At least three variations come to mind, that are not listed here, as follows:

 

1) Goofy with a Dark/Hot Pink face

 

2) Goofy with a yellow Face (came as a Goofy B - One recently went on ebay for $238.57 - A picture of one can be seen on page 12 on PEZ Collectibles by Geary)

 

3) Soft Head

 

I'm sure there are others.

One slight variation I have noticed is that at least some of the Goofy Ds have the eye paint stenciled on instead of the dabbing of paint prevalent on Goofy A through C.

Another slight variation is the "H" symbol that is found on some of the Goofy dispenser heads.

Also, look for the following: Small Plastic Pin and Large Plastic Pin

Also note the seperate teeth and molded teeth

And of course, look for the real rare guy with the blue hat!

 

One further thing should be mentioned about categorization; I have used the following designations:

 

Goofy A - Separate Nose, Separate teeth, Movable Ears

Goofy B - Molded Nose, Separate teeth, Movable Ears

Goofy C - Molded Nose, Molded teeth, Movable Ears

Goofy D - Molded Nose, Molded Teeth, Ears part of hairpiece

Goofy E - First Remake

Goofy F - Second Remake - Current

 

These revision letters follow the scheme outlined on page 59 and 60 of Collecting PEZ by David Welch. I believe, some of the other documentation available (and some web sites) ignore Goofy D above and hence move everything subsequent to that up one revision.
